The customer wanted to trap off their Igel unit between the Monitor and Monitor arm, to give them an all in one solution, the Igel special adaptor cage was the end result.
Designed with 75mm and 100mm VESA points, so the unit could be screwed onto the monitor, the outer side had threaded rod welded into the cage. This then allowed the monitor arm to be fitted over the treaded rod, and locked into place via Butterfly nuts( security not an issue, just the locating of the mount)
The unit also comes with a housing to take the power supply, to keep everything nice and compact.
